Exhibition Description

You know what? I can’t hide it anymore. If you ask me why I’ve kept my eyes closed for a while, sometimes it’s hard to recognize what I’m talking about, but what I remember is that pretending not to know, falling into a greasy swamp, like Confucius, Mencius, God, Jesus, teacher, father, mother. Artist statement

Yonggaksan: I vaguely remember every morning and disappear. When I open my eyes, I rather hide something. Dreams are telling me something. When you close your eyes, you can see what you’ve done. I want to go in there. Records from April to December.

Yimtee: When you want to draw something, you have a mind you don’t want to draw at the same time. So the picture is drawn as if you know it or not. That’s how you paint things that you don’t have to draw, and whether you don’t, it resembles how you deal with secrets. Someone may know the meaning of the story through words. Do I like him or not?

Hoho Kim: I, who does not keep a diary, try to write a diary falsely. Dec. 5 to 11 in 2019.
