Jin-jja, Jin-jja, Jin-jja (Real, Real, Real)

Exhibition Description

Gang Ga-jja and Moon Ga-jja are artists who have an interest in women’s life history and gendered symbols, respectively. They began their unit activities with interest in text-based work. After about six months of text-work study, both artists found common ground in their work focusing on other people’s stories rather than putting themselves forward. In this exhibition, Gang Ga-jja and Moon Ga-jja use the pseudonym to disperse the author’s self-esteem and call the inner story of the unknown, possibly the real author, as the main characters of the stage. Jin-jja, Jin-jja, Jin-jja(Real, Real, Real) means the real story of Gang Ga-jja, Moon Ga-jja and the unknowns. We are going to make an uneasy, real confession of the two Ga-jjas who might be stealing other people’s stories instead of theirs.
